I have found that Ackerman Volvo service to be knowledgeable, timely, and reliable. I have used their service, two times and each time I have been satisfied with the result.

Bruce and his mechanics diagnosed a car alarm problem in my old Subaru, even sought out no-longer produced replacement parts. In the end we decided to disconnect the alarm. He offered reasonable choices along the way and promptly completed the work. I'm grateful to Ackerman's for this.

Ackerman's does great work for a reasonable price! Wish I had known about them before taking my Outback into the dealership for the big 60,000 mile service:( Definatley will use them next time!

Car has been in and out of the shop several times within a month, each time with a different problem. Sometimes we knew there might be something more, but sometimes this came up spontaneously after bringing in the car for something else; new problems would erupt soon after. A simple explanation/discussion each time would have helped make us feel that things were being competently addressed.

Great service. Great price. Dropped off and picked up from BART stop which made my life easy. All in all a very positive experience!
