What I like most about Ackerman's: Your friendliness, politeness, interesting conversations; your intimate office with clean chairs, biscotti, fish tank, the New York Times, and classical music; proximity to my home and rides to and from work all the way in the Oakland Hills; your ability to diagnose mysterious vehicular irregularities as well as the usual stuff; your efficient and expedient work; your 5% contribution to a favorite cause of mine; your perfect fairness, generosity, and trustworthiness since my first appointment with you March 19, 2010, I think.

Bruce is a very understudying mechanic owner I have ever seen in East Bay Area. He is interested in my concerns since the entering the front door and look at the car as it is his own. He provides every information about the problem of the car and other necessities. I had been in other mechanics before which I was not satisfied either by the work done or the behaviors, so hopefully I have been advised to go the Ackerman's service. By the way, his personnels are so kind and very cheery. He is very professional in his work. What else to say, I highly recommend Ackerman's service to anyone who faces problems with their Volvo. You and your car deserve to be treated well.

Highly recommend! I am so happy I took my 1982 Volvo 244 to Ackerman's. I felt like my Volvo went to a good Volvo doctor! Bruce was trustworthy and provided excellent customer service. I wasn't charged for putting in a part because of a few days delay! I wasn't expecting that. It was a nice surprise, as well as the Thank You card I received in the mail. I will be back!
