Bruce Ackerman and his crew are great. The place is an east bay institution for a reason. Super knowledgeable, deeply experienced, always kind. Legendary pros.

Was sad when we moved to CO as we lost our best Volvo service center, but all was not lost. Daughter stayed on to work in the BUSD so when I was able to get CO license plate I drove our 2010 S40 back to Berkeley. Of course by then it needed a service and Bruce was as great with my daughter as he's always been with me. Very detailed with what needed to be done (and my daughter googled what he quoted and was happy that what he said was exactly what needed to be attended to) and as always everything was done to a high standard, even under quote on a couple items. I'm sure she will be back for one final service before returning the car to CO and then heading off to grad school! Cheers Bruce and thank you and your crew for all the years of exempelary service!!!

Though I'm still reeling from the cost of this head-gasket and valve repair (over $5K) I have to say that Bruce and his team did an excellent job, diagnosing, explaining the problems step by step, carefully checking at each stage, and bringing the poor car back home
