My experience has always been a great experience they know their volvos and very kind best experience I've ever had was at Ackerman volvo.

Bruce was super clear and easy to communicate with in regards to the work being done on the car. No mysteries, and very transparent about everything. I've been looking for a regular shop to use instead of the dealerships, and it looks like I've found it.

Bruce and his team are always friendly, professional and take great care of my Subaru Outback and me as a customer. My son referred me to Ackermans a few years ago. All work is completed as requested and on-time. Thank youChris

Ive had consistently great experiences bringing my 2017 Volvo to Ackermans. They are professional, thorough, and transparent in everything they do. Its clear theyre honest mechanics who take pride in their work, and I never feel like Im being upsold or misled. Every time I leave, my car genuinely feels like its running better. Its not easy to find a shop you can fully trust, but Ackermans has earned that confidence. I couldnt ask for a better place to take my Volvo.

He was incredibly professional, the price was very reasonable, and the work was completed quickly and efficiently. It’s not always easy finding a repair shop you can trust, but we felt completely confident in the service we received. The very best in auto works! I switched from going to the Volvo dealership after Ackerman Auto was able to diagnose and fix a problem for nothing when the dealership was about to charge me several hundred dollars just to diagnose the issue. Ackerman Auto is one of the reasons that I can continue driving Volvos after 30+ years - great cars with expert, honest and affordable mechanics for maintenance.

Super friendly and efficient

I had a very disappointing experience with this shop. I was charged for an initial diagnosis that turned out to be incorrect. Based on that diagnosis, they performed a repair—mostly software-related work—that cost over $1,000 on my 2012 vehicle. Unfortunately, the repair did not resolve the AWD issue at all. When I brought the car back and explained that the problem was still present, I was then told that I would need a new rear differential for approximately $9,000 and that it would be better to sell the car. At no point was reimbursement or accountability offered for the incorrect diagnosis or the ineffective repair. What adds to the frustration is that they continue sending automated requests asking me to leave a review, despite not even correctly recording my name or vehicle information during service. I cannot recommend this shop based on my experience.
