I really really appreciate Bruce's expertise and his recommendations. I took my Volvo XC 90 to another shop (stupidly) and they wanted to do $3,000+ worth of unnecessary work on it to replace the pads & rotors on my brakes. Bruce looked at it, and confirmed I had over 50% left on front & back pads, and nothing was required. He went one step further and tightened my parking brake, which was loose. The whole inspection was free, and I will be going back to Bruce for all my auto needs from now on.

Went with battery drain issues on a XC90, but nothing was found, so nothing was charged. Have to go back though, battery did drain again.

The window controller in my door handle began smoking when I started my car. Adam got on the phone & walked my son through instructions on how to remove the part, so that I could drive my car safely to Ackerman's. The part was replaced, & my car was tested for safety.

Very nice talking with Bruce before I brought the car in for service. I was very impressed with his ability to listen to my full explanation of the problem and what I had done so far. .. Work was done the next day as promised, and the extra problem they found was explained and accepted. Drive to BART and interesting conversation on Bruce's background was appreciated after I dropped the car off.

The car is driving almost as good as a newer suv. You all did a fantastic job by not only fixing a lot of necessary repairs but doing the utmost repair which was descovering that the turbo booster was in need of being replaced which is contributing to my car running smoothly with more power in acceleration. The tires makes a big difference also. Thank you for referring me to Joe's tires. I can definitely feel a difference in how the car runs on bumpy roads and freeways.
