Took my 10 yo Subaru in to have Ackerman and crew diagnose a number of issues. I was wondering if it would be worth repairing. The prognosis was decisive. the repairs added up to more than the car is worth. I drove the car home, without any repairs. No charge. Bruce was helpful and friendly even tho they had spent time on my car without making any money.

Bruce at Ackerman's is competent and cares about his customers and their cars. When our Volvo's rear brakes still squealed after his servicing he replaced the pads with more expensive ones at no charge.
